Connection Test
Test your own connection's speed, public IP, latency to major providers, and DNS leak status β all in one run.
What this test checks
Connection Test bundles four checks about your own network into one run: download/upload speed, your public IP and its geolocation, round-trip latency to major cloud providers, and whether your DNS queries are leaking outside an expected resolver (useful for verifying VPN configuration).
Why latency to multiple providers matters
A single ping to one server tells you little β comparing round-trip time to several major providers (Cloudflare, Google, Amazon, Fastly) gives a more useful picture of your connection's general responsiveness and can help spot routing issues specific to one network versus a broader problem.
About the DNS leak check
If you're using a VPN, your DNS queries should route through the VPN's own resolvers β not your ISP's. This check queries public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers and reports the client IP they observed, which can reveal a DNS leak even when your browsing traffic itself is correctly tunneled.
