Domain Expiry Checker

Check when a domain name is set to expire, along with its registrar, registration date, and nameservers. Catch an expiring domain before it goes down.

Domain

Why domain expiry matters

An expired domain stops resolving entirely β€” your website, email, and any service tied to it goes down at once. Registrars typically send renewal reminders, but those emails are easy to miss, especially if the domain was registered years ago by someone who has since left the company.

How much warning do you get?

Most registrars offer a grace period after expiry (often 30-45 days) before the domain is released back into the public pool, but during that window your site and email are already down. Some registries add a further redemption period at a steep extra cost to reclaim the domain.

What to check regularly

Beyond the expiry date itself, watch for auto-renew being silently disabled, an outdated payment method on the registrar account, or WHOIS privacy settings that might be blocking renewal reminder emails from reaching you.
